Sibling Story

"When I found out my sister had cancer, I was only nine years old. Being nine, I didn’t really know what was happening, I just knew that my sister was really sick. Throughout her treatment, I wasn’t really aware of what was actually happening. I went to a couple of her treatments, but she mostly slept the whole time. Most of the time when she was at home, I would go to a friend's house. When she was awake and feeling okay at home, I would spend time with her, and we spent a lot of time playing video games, and those days are some of the best memories my sister and I have of her time while in treatment." -Sarah (Sister to a Survivor)
